Interesting fact
The 1 Albertsdaler coin from Denmark, minted between 1781 and 1796, has an interesting feature. It was made with a unique silver alloy, consisting of 86.8% silver and 13.2% other metals. This composition was used to increase the coin's durability and resistance to wear and tear, as silver coins tend to be softer and more prone to scratches and damage. The use of this special alloy made the Albertsdaler coin stand out from other silver coins of its time and added to its unique character.
