Interesting fact
The ½ Won coin from the Russian Occupation period in Korea (1901) was designed by a Russian artist named G. B. Glinsky, who was responsible for creating many of the coin designs during that time. The coin features an image of a Korean pine tree on one side and the Russian coat of arms on the other, symbolizing the political union between Russia and Korea during that period.
