Interesting fact
The ⅓ Speciedaler coin from Norway, issued during the reign of Christian VII (1795-1803), features an interesting design element - a small hole in the center of the coin. This hole was intentionally drilled during the minting process, as it was believed to ward off evil spirits and bring good luck to the coin's owner.
