Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Pattern ½ Penny - Victoria (Copper-nickel Pattern) 1859 from United Kingdom is that it was designed by Leonard Charles Wyon, a renowned engraver and designer at the Royal Mint. Wyon's design features a young Queen Victoria, with her hair in a bun and a crown on her head, surrounded by a wreath of laurel leaves. The coin's obverse also includes the inscription "VICTORIA D:G: BRITT: REG: F:D:", which stands for "Victoria, by the grace of God, Queen of the Britons, Defender of the Faith." This coin is considered a rare and valuable collector's item, with only a few examples known to exist in mint condition.
