Interesting fact
The ½ Gros coin featuring Anthony, Duke of Brabant (1412-1415) from the Duchy of Luxembourg (Luxembourg) is interesting because it was minted during a time of great political and economic change in Europe. The coin's silver content and small denomination made it a widely used currency during this period, and its design featuring the Duke's image signifies the importance of the Luxembourg dynasty in European history.
