Interesting fact

The "Seated Liberty Half Dime" was the first coin in the United States to feature a depiction of Lady Liberty with a smaller head and a more naturalistic pose, sitting on a rock instead of a pedestal. This design change was a departure from the previous "Flowing Hair" and "Draped Bust" designs, and marked a significant shift in the aesthetic of US coinage.
