Interesting fact

The Draped Bust Half Dime, minted from 1800 to 1805, was the first coin to feature an eagle on its reverse side. This design change was a departure from the previous Flowing Hair Half Dime, which had a more classical design and did not include an eagle. The addition of the eagle was a symbol of the young nation's growing sense of national identity and patriotism.
