Despite the low weight, this coin was valued at four groots, according to de Witte.

A similar type, minted in the same year, lacks the roses in the field obverse, and substitues a dot for the rose at the center of the cross reverse (Witte 409). Together they are referred to as the Vryman (or Bryman) "aux roses," and "sans roses."
