Comment
The tamgha resembles that of Chaghaniyan; however, it is not exactly identical. As well, there has been at least one find in Bukhara, which is rare for coins from Chaghaniyan. The ancient Budrach settlements is reported to been a major spot for finds of this type.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it was minted during the reign of the Sogdian Empire, which was a major power in Central Asia during the 7th to 9th centuries. The Sogdian Empire was known for its extensive trade networks, and its coins were used as a medium of exchange along the famous Silk Road. This coin, made of bronze and weighing 1.88 grams, was likely used for everyday transactions and could have been carried by merchants and traders as they traveled across the empire.
