Interesting fact

The Trojak koronny coin was used as a means of payment in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during the reign of King Stefan Batory (1576-1586). It was equivalent to three Polish crowns, hence its name "Trojak koronny" which means "three crown" in Polish. The coin was made of silver and weighed 2.37 grams, with a diameter of 24-26 millimeters. Despite its small size, the coin was an important part of the economy of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, which was a significant power in Eastern Europe during the 16th century.
