Interesting fact
The Trojak koronny was a coin used in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth during the reign of King Stefan Batory (1581-1587). It was made of silver and weighed 2.37 grams. What's interesting about this coin is that it was one of the first coins to feature a portrait of a king on one side and a coat of arms on the other. This design was a departure from the traditional medieval style of coins, which often featured religious symbols or images of saints. The use of a portrait and coat of arms on the Trojak koronny coin signaled a shift towards more secular and nationalistic themes in coin design.
