Interesting fact
The August III Sas (Lipsk) 1753 Trojak coin from the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth was made of silver, but it was also one of the first coins to feature a portrait of a monarch with a distinctive facial feature - a prominent nose. This was a departure from the typical depiction of monarchs with idealized, classical features and marked a shift towards more realistic portraiture on coins.
