Interesting fact
The Sigismund III Vasa (Olkusz) 1592-1593 Trojak / 3 Grosze coin was minted during a time of great change in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth. It was the first coin to feature the image of Sigismund III Vasa, who was the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania at the time. The coin's design was meant to symbolize the unity of the two nations, and it featured the Polish eagle on one side and the Lithuanian coat of arms on the other. Despite its historical significance, the coin was not widely used and is now considered a rare collector's item.
