Comment
Under Maximilian Sforza (1512-1515) trillines were struck in Milan with a crowned Gothic M and a helmet on the back, looking to the left with oversized helmet trim. These trillines by Gian Giacomo Trivuzio are clear additions to such Milanese pieces and must therefore be included in the second embossing period.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Trillina coin is that it was used as a form of currency in the Lordship of Mesocco, which was a small territory in the Grisons region of Switzerland, during the 15th century. Despite its age, the coin is still considered a valuable collector's item among numismatists today.
