Interesting fact
The Trihemiobol coin was used in ancient Macedon during the 5th century BC and was equivalent to one-third of an Obol, which was the standard unit of currency at the time. The coin features an image of a youthful male figure on one side and a quadriga (a chariot pulled by four horses) on the other. The Trihemiobol was made of silver and weighed approximately 0.85 grams. Despite its small size, the coin played an important role in the economy of ancient Macedon and was used for everyday transactions.
