Rare, undated piece minted after 1355 at the Luxembourg City mint.Obol or Luxembourg Mesh imitating the castle of the tournois obol of Philip VI of Valois (1328 - 1350), type Dy# 281 (Lafaurie 286).
The coin is almost identical to the , only the legend of the obverse changes:

One interesting fact about the Tournois obol coin is that it was minted during the reign of Wenceslaus I, who was the Duke of Luxembourg from 1355 to 1383. Despite being a small coin made of billon, it was an important part of the currency system in Luxembourg during that time.
