By the Law 10th July, 1555, the Cross from Aviz Military Order replaces the Cross of Cristhus Military Order.There is a symilar coin from PORTO (J3 148). The Lisbon coins ends like PORTVGAl ET ALGAR. The Porto ones never mention ALGARVE

One interesting fact about the Tostão – João III (3rd type, Lisbon) ND (1555-1557) coin from Portugal is that it features a unique design element - a small shield with the coat of arms of Lisbon on the reverse side, which was not present on the previous types of Tostão coins. This addition was made to commemorate the city of Lisbon's 800th anniversary.
