Interesting fact
The Thaler ND (1646-1652) from City of Bern was used as a currency in Switzerland during the 17th century. It was made of silver and weighed 26.5 grams. One interesting fact about this coin is that it features an image of a bear, which is the symbol of the city of Bern, on one side, and the coat of arms of the city on the other. This coin was used widely in trade and commerce during its time and is now considered a valuable collector's item.
