Interesting fact
The Maximilian I Thaler from Hungary, minted in 1575, features an error in the inscription on the reverse side. The Latin phrase "Sit Nomen Domini Benedictum" (May the name of the Lord be blessed) was incorrectly written as "Sit Nomen Domini Benedicum" (May the name of the Lord be cursed). This mistake was likely caused by a misreading of the handwriting on the original design, and it has become a unique feature of this particular coin.
