Interesting fact
The Tetradrachm - Xeines was one of the first coins to feature a portrait of a deity, in this case, the Greek goddess Artemis. This was a significant departure from earlier coins, which typically featured symbols or abstract designs. The inclusion of a deity on the coin was seen as a way to convey the power and authority of the issuing city-state, and it set a precedent for future coinage.
