Interesting fact
The Tetradrachm coin was used during the reign of Alexander the Great's father, King Philip II of Macedon. It was a widely used denomination in the ancient Greek world and was often used to pay soldiers and mercenaries. The coin's design features the image of a youthful Alexander the Great, who was only 16 years old when his father was assassinated and he succeeded him as king. Despite his young age, Alexander went on to become one of the greatest military leaders in history, conquering a vast portion of the known world and spreading Greek culture and language throughout his empire.
