Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features the image of a youthful Alexander the Great, who was only 16 years old when he succeeded his father King Philip II of Macedon. This coin was minted during Alexander's reign, and it's fascinating to think that this young king would go on to conquer such a vast portion of the known world.
