Interesting fact

The Tetradrachm coin from Tenedos (Troad) features a unique design on its reverse side, depicting a mythological scene of a nereid (sea nymph) riding a sea monster, known as a hippocamp. This design was used consistently on the coins of Tenedos during this time period, and it's believed to symbolize the island's strong maritime culture and connection to the sea.
