Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Tetartemorion coin is that it features a unique blend of Greek and Persian design elements. The obverse (front) side of the coin depicts a bearded male head wearing a diadem, which is a symbol of Greek influence. However, the reverse (back) side of the coin shows a Persian-style seated figure, indicating the influence of the Persian Empire that had conquered the region where the coin was minted. This blending of design elements reflects the cultural exchange and fusion that occurred during the period of Persian rule in the region.
