Comment

There are two main subtypes and several noteworthy varieties.
One main subtype has late gothic lettering. One rare variety has the arms of the mintmaster at 10:00 obverse. ANother has the saint wearing boots (normally he is barefoot). In both of these varieties, the model of the city has only one central tower.
The other main subtype (shown in the photos) has modern lettering, and the model of the city has two towers.

The saint's name is sometimes spelled without the final S.

Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Terzo di Grosso - Constanzo I Sforza ND (1473-1483) coin from the City of Pesaro (Italian States) is that it features an image of a shield with the Sforza family emblem on one side, and the coat of arms of Pesaro on the other. This coin was minted during the reign of Constanzo I Sforza, who was a powerful condottiero (mercenary captain) and lord of Pesaro. The coin's design reflects the political alliances and power dynamics of the time, and its silver content makes it a valuable collector's item for numismatists.
