Interesting fact
The Talar wikariacki coin was minted during the reign of August III Sas, who was the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1733 to 1763. This coin was minted specifically to commemorate the wedding of August III's daughter, Maria Josepha, to Charles Albert, the Elector of Bavaria, in 1740. The coin features an image of August III on one side and the coat of arms of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth on the other. It was made of silver and had a face value of 10 groszy, which was a significant amount at the time.
