Interesting fact

The Talar coin was minted during the reign of Stefan Batory, who was the King of Poland and Grand Duke of Lithuania from 1576 to 1586. The coin features an image of King Stefan Batory on one side and the Polish coat of arms on the other. It's interesting to note that this coin was minted during a time of great change and upheaval in the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth, as it was facing threats from neighboring powers and struggling with internal conflicts. Despite these challenges, the Talar coin remained a widely used and valued form of currency throughout the region.
