Interesting fact

One interesting fact about the Standard circulation coin Szóstak / 6 Groszy - Jan II Kazimierz Waza (Kraków) 1650-1668 from Polish–Lithuanian Commonwealth is that it was made of Billon, which is an alloy of silver and copper, but contains only 37.5% silver. This is a relatively low percentage of silver compared to other coins of the time, which were often made of higher purity silver. Despite this, the coin still held significant value and was widely used in trade and commerce during its time.
