The Sigismund III Vasa Szeląg koronny coin from 1597 is considered one of the rarest and most valuable coins in the history of Poland. It's believed that only about 300 of these coins were minted, and as a result, they are highly sought after by collectors. In fact, in 2018, one of these coins was sold at an auction for a staggering 1.3 million złoty (approximately $350,000 USD)!
