HAINAUT - COUNTY OF HAINAUT - GUILLAUME I(1304-1337)
Guillaume I was the son of Jean II d'Avesnes, Count of Hainaut, and Philippine, daughter of Count Henri II of Luxembourg. He married Jeanne de Valois, daughter of Charles I de Valois, in 1305. He died in 1337 and was succeeded by his daughter Guillaume II.
