Interesting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a portrait of Telemachos, the son of Odysseus, while the reverse (back) side depicts a stylized image of a lion attacking a stag. This design was a common motif in ancient Greek coinage and symbolized the power and strength of the city-state of Abdera.
