For this type of statere, we distinguish two groups with homogeneous rights, but quite distinct as for the reverses; with the horse on the right or on the left. The one with the horse on the left seems to be a little rarer. The drawing n° 5281 of LA TOUR represents well a horse on the left whereas the description which is made in the Muret Chabouillet is "aurige leading a horse on the right".Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a Charioteer facing left, which is a unique design element for coins from the Arverni region during that time period.
