Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features the first known depiction of Zeus on a Greek coin. The obverse side of the coin shows a bearded Zeus, seated on a throne, with his right hand holding a scepter and his left hand holding a small statue of Nike (Victory). This representation of Zeus became a standard design element on many Greek coins and has been interpreted as a symbol of the power and authority of the Olympian gods.
