Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features the first known depiction of Zeus on a Greek coin. The obverse side of the coin shows a bearded Zeus, seated to the left, holding a scepter in his right hand and a small statue of Nike (Victory) in his left. This design was a departure from the traditional depiction of Greek gods on coins, which usually showed them in a more formal, front-facing pose. The Zeus image on this coin is considered a rare and significant example of early Greek coinage art.
