Interesting fact
The Ephesos Stater was one of the first coins to feature an image of a deity. The obverse side of the coin features a representation of the Greek goddess Artemis, while the reverse side features a stag, which was a symbol of the city of Ephesos. This coin was minted during the 6th century BC and was used as a form of currency in the ancient Greek world.
