Comment
Some sources do not want to put this issue in Seriphos, there are no undeniable link of this issue to the island. Thus they list it as an uncertain issuerInteresting fact
The obverse (front) side of the coin features a portrait of the Greek goddess Athena, while the reverse (back) side features a representation of a serpent, which was a symbol of the island of Seriphos. This combination of symbols reflects the cultural and religious beliefs of the people of Seriphos during that time period.
