Interesting fact
The Koressia Stater is considered one of the earliest coins to feature an image of a deity. The obverse side of the coin depicts a bearded Apollo, while the reverse side features a dolphin, which was a symbol of the island of Koressia. This coin is a rare example of early Greek coinage and is highly sought after by collectors.
