Interesting fact

The Ambracia Stater was used as a form of currency in the ancient Greek city-state of Ambracia, which was located in the region of Epeiros. The coin features an image of a mythical creature called the "Ambracia's Lion" on one side, and an inscription of the city's name on the other. The coin was minted during the reign of King Pyrrhus, who ruled Ambracia from 480 BC to 458 BC. Despite its age, the coin remains a popular collector's item among numismatists today, with some rare examples selling for thousands of dollars at auction.
