Interesting fact

The Chersonesos (Taurica) Stater coin was minted during the reign of Emperor Hadrian (117-138 AD) and features a depiction of the goddess Athena on the obverse (front side) and a depiction of a griffin on the reverse (back side). The coin was likely used for trade and commerce in the ancient Greek city of Chersonesos, which was located in modern-day Crimea, Ukraine.
