Interesting fact

The Dyrrachion Stater was used as a form of currency in the ancient region of Illyria, which is now modern-day Albania. The coin features an image of a mythical creature called the "Illyrian Lion" on one side, and an image of the goddess Artemis on the other. This coin was used for trade and commerce, and its design was influenced by the neighboring Greek city-states. Despite being over 2,000 years old, some of these coins have been well-preserved and can still be found in collections today.
