Interesting fact
The Aspendos Stater was used as a form of currency in the ancient Greek city of Aspendos, which was located in modern-day Turkey. The coin features an image of a lion's head on one side and a winged horse on the other, symbolizing the city's wealth and power. Despite being over 2,000 years old, many of these coins have been well-preserved and are still highly sought after by collectors today.
