Comment
AJC 23.
We see here for the first time since the first year coins some poorly engraved (irregular) dies, possibly reflecting fewer available artisans due to the stressful conditions of the Jewish government near the end of the Jewish war.

Interesting fact
The Sheqel (Year 4) coin from Judea, which was minted between 69-70 CE, features an image of a pomegranate on one side and a lulav (a bundle of palm fronds) on the other. This design was meant to symbolize the Jewish holiday of Sukkot, which is celebrated during the month of Tishrei and involves the waving of the lulav and the blessing of the pomegranate. The coin's design was intended to commemorate this important Jewish festival and to promote the cultural and religious practices of the Jewish people.
