Interesting fact
The Półtalar koronny coin was minted during the reign of Stanisław August Poniatowski, who was the last king of Poland before the country was partitioned and disappeared from the map for over a century. The coin features an image of the king on one side and the Polish eagle on the other. It was made of silver and weighed 14.03 grams. Interestingly, the coin was minted in Warsaw, which was a significant center of trade and commerce at the time. Despite being a standard circulation coin, it is now a rare and valuable collector's item, with some examples selling for thousands of dollars at auction.
