Comment
This precise type corresponds to n° 1637 of MONNAIES 38 de CGB. This gossip indeed does not match the DT. 3254; there are actually two types of horse TOC gossip depending on the module and the legend. The gossip DT. S3257B features the same pattern () between the legs and above the horse's back. This copy of a small module is missing from the New Atlas, with a Q above the horse and () between the legs.Interesting fact
One interesting fact about this coin is that it features a horse on one side, which was a symbol of strength, power, and mobility in ancient Celtic culture. The horse was also associated with the goddess Epona, who was revered across the Celtic world as a protector of horses, riders, and travelers. The inclusion of the horse on this coin may have been a way to express the Sequani people's connection to their cultural heritage and their beliefs.
