In 1433-1434 Philip the Good minted these debased (fineness was below 0.875) and overvalued florins at four mints in the southern part of Burgundian Netherlands: Leuven and Zevenbergen in Brabant, plus Valenciennes (Hainaut) and Namur.Two subtypes were made at Namur. In one (main photos, Delmonte 420) the obverse legend ends in COMES NAMVRC, making it easy to identify. In another, the legend ends in BRAB: LIMB' (Delmonte 421) and has punctuation saltire-annelet-saltire:
