Interesting fact
The Cross in Quatrefoil type Penny coin of Henry I, minted in 1109, features a unique design element - a small cross within a quatrefoil (a four-leaf clover-like shape) on the reverse side of the coin. This design was a departure from the traditional cross-and-orb design used on previous pennies, and it signified a shift towards more intricate and ornate coin designs in the medieval period.
