Interesting fact
The Pattern Para / 3 Dengi (Pattern) 1771 coin was minted during a time of great change and political upheaval in the region. The coin was issued by the Prince of Moldavia and Wallachia, Grigore III Ghica, who was attempting to modernize and centralize the government. The coin was part of a series of reforms aimed at standardizing the currency and promoting trade. Despite these efforts, the coin was not widely accepted and did not circulate for long, making it a rare and valuable collector's item today.
