Coinage was produced during the Russian-Turkish war in 1771-1774, by order of the Russian government on Sadogursky private mint on the territory of modern Romania. Double denomination (in Russian and local currency) contributed to establishing the correct equivalents in the calculation with the local population in the procurement, mainly of food and fodder.

There are 4 known varieties exists:
- Big letters of reverse and wide digits of year Bit#1265;
- Big letters of reverse and tight digits of year Bit#1266;
- Small letters of reverse and tight or wide digits of year Bit#1267.

Interesting fact

The Pattern Para / 3 Dengi (Pattern) 1771 coin was minted during a time of great change and political upheaval in the region. The coin was issued by the Prince of Moldavia and Wallachia, Grigore III Ghica, who was attempting to modernize and centralize the government. The coin was part of a series of reforms aimed at standardizing the currency and promoting trade.
