Interesting fact
One interesting fact about the Oktadrachm coin from Bisaltai is that it features a unique blend of Thracian and Macedonian influences in its design. The obverse side of the coin depicts a stylized head of Dionysus, the Greek god of wine and fertility, while the reverse side shows a seated figure of the Thracian goddess Bendis, who was revered as a protector of the tribe.
