Interesting fact
The obol coin of Kotys I (KOTYOΣ) was used as a form of currency in the Kingdom of Odryssa (Thracians) during his reign from 383 BC to 359 BC. The coin was made of silver and weighed 0.85 grams. Despite its small size, the coin held significant value and was widely used in trade and commerce during that time.
