The following link shows the type of a common obole, in billon. These two coins are linked by the fact that they are of the same type, but struck in gold on one side and in billon on the other. We can therefore imagine that the same corners were used to strike both coins, gold and billon.
Interesting fact
The Obol Gold Strike coin featuring Matthias Corvinus, minted in Hungary between 1471 and 1488, is an extremely rare and valuable collector's item. It's interesting to note that only a limited number of these coins were produced during Corvinus' reign, making them highly sought after by collectors and historians. Additionally, the coin's gold content and unique design make it a standout piece among other coins from the same era.
